Cons

  • Online RPGs are not for everyone

Game Description

Anime RTS Illusion Connect Launches with a Host of Rewards and In-Game Events

After an excruciating wait, Illusion Connect is finally out. And to celebrate the games impressive 600,000 pre-registrations, Superprism is holding a host of introductory events.

For the uninitiated, Illusion Connect is a stunning and innovative tactical shojo RPG for mobile that combines frantic, demanding tactical combat with engaging social features.

It sees you building an army of Radiants - personality-filled shojos - and organizing them into squads to take on the Nightmares. There are 50 of these Radiants to collect and customize, and they sre voiced by a star cast of talent including Hisako Kanemoto (Tekken 7), Yui Ishikawa (NieR: Automata), and Risa Taneda (Dragon Quest 8).

The ace up Illusion Connects sleeve is that combat is only one part of the game, with the other focused on getting to know your Radiants back home in your customizable house. They each have their own backstory and personality to explore.

Having smashed through 600,000 pre-registrations, Superprism is rewarding its nascent player base with a variety of different events, from simple login bonuses to in-game tasks.

Having smashed through 600,000 pre-registrations, Superprism is rewarding its nascent player base with a variety of different events, from simple login bonuses to in-game tasks.

First up, there is an 8-day login event resulting in a huge pile of Diamonds to spend, plus a Redhood skin for Nina and an SSR partner Miyuki.

Then there is the Dreamweaver event, which kicks in on the third day after creating your character. It sees you collecting stage stars and exchanging them for Diamonds. Journey of Growth, meanwhile, gives you seven days of objectives - if you complete them all you will get a Saya upgrade from R to SSR, plus a Nightingale skin.

Annas Gift gives you stages to complete in exchange for Diamonds and Coins, as well as partner EXP and SSR gears, while the SEEDs Recruitment event allows you to collect SR and SSR partners in order to earn 30 Summon Tickets and a Bikini for Kasumi.

Lastly there is the Newbie Bonus, letting you summon ten times with a guaranteed SSR partner pull - Frantiva, Hotaru, or Nicola.

Illusion Connect is ready and raring to go on the App Store and Google Play. Download it for free right now. The game also has official Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Discord. Check them out.
